Helge Högbom | 1910 - 1996
 

Helge Waldemar Högbom, sculptor and painter, born in Malmö in 1910, studies at Wiliam Zadig's sculpture school in Malmö. His works were done in bronze, clay and marble. Among his works can be mentioned "Mother and Child" in 1949, "Bronze Age" in 1950 and the fountain sculpture "Leda and the Swan" in Malmö in 1951. Helge participated in the Skåne Art Association's exhibitions from 1937 until 1956, also together with the Klippans and Trelleborg Art Associations in the early 1950s. Helge Högbom died in Malmö in 1996.
